The coronavirus pandemic has been with us for nearly a year, and an end is not in sight. Most probably, we will have to live with it forever. Lockdowns, restrictions, masks, social distancing will all continue. Should we let Corona halt our lives? We can probably modify our daily routines somewhat to face Corona, but can we ignore our health requirements or ignore medical emergencies? What if you have an appointment with your dentist for essential dental treatment, or worse, if you develop a severe toothache?

At Tarzana Smile Design, your health and wellbeing are taken very seriously. We fully comply with the latest guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as by the American Dental Association (ADA) about the treatment of patients. Not only that, we go a step further and adopt additional safety measures providing safer, and better dental service to our valued patients.

    • Pre-Appointment Telephonic Screening - This will screen out “high-risk” patient category of patients depending on their travel history, contact with patients etc. High-risk patients are booked only in case of an emergency.

  3. Precautionary Measures at the Reception and the Waiting Area
    • The Reception area: Removal of all sources of Infection like door handles, knobs etc

      • Ensuring Social Distancing in the waiting area by while seating the visitors.
      • Managing appointment times to allow appropriate social distancing

  5. Requiring all patients to rinse with peroixide solution before any treatment.
  6. Patient Education

    We ask our patients to mind the following before visiting us:

    • They should wear masks if the state warrants that.
    • Visiting alone if possible.
    • Rescheduling of patient appointment if Corona is detected in the family
    • Sanitizing the dental office before each appointment.
